The heritage charm pulled me in right away. My room was beautifully decorated, capturing the essence of the old colonial era. The attention to detail in the furnishings fascinated me. The staff greeted me warmly. Their friendliness. I enjoyed daily breakfast with freshly prepared items. A good cake waiting in my fridge every day. The cozy lounge area became my favorite spot to unwind after exploring George Town. The only downside was that the shower temperature fluctuated a bit, inconvenient. Another minor issue was the need to remove shoes before heading upstairs, but it added to the hotel's charm rather than detracting from it.

Everything. Lovely owners and staff were all so helpful - especially as due to a very long train journey, arriving 6 hours late in the early hours of the morning, a little personal itinerary was suggested for us which meant we could see Georgetown in all of the hour we had available! So friendly and with a very personal touch. The hotel is a beautiful building, furnished so well. A delightful but all too short stay.
Absolutely nothing.

Excellent and unbeatable setting in the beautiful area, just next door to the back verandah for sunset drinks, all the major sights and an excellant clinic for service. For tea or coffee visit Lollipop Ropitiam nearby...
Not particularly friendly staff!

A good morning surprise
Every morning began with a plate of fresh fruits and delicious coffee. The staff were attentive, sharing personalized tips for exploring the city.
The check-in process felt rushed, and we found ourselves waiting longer for our breakfast on a couple of mornings, a bit frustrating.

The warmth of the welcome was fantastic, as was the personal care and attention of Nardya and Roberto and the rest of the team. Fantastic, helpful, we will return
the presence of a nespresso in the room is great. But I like tea, and i have to remember to use the machine for tea BEFORE I make coffee.... small problem

Enjoyed a good stay with really good room comfort and cleanliness. The complimentary desserts each afternoon were a wonderful surprise, along with tasty iced tea provided daily. Breakfast was excellent, especially the poached eggs. The staff were helpful. Interactions could have been slightly more prompt during peak hours.

top hotel, top service, even nespresso machine in our room among the best during our trip
if anything at all then it would be the breakfast, which is served kind of a la carte, but no one tells you what you get and in which order. we had to ask several times for more marmalade, honey and fruits.

Everything, from the warm welcome and briefing re sights to see, to the beautifully appointed room with en-suite, relaxation areas, dining area, custom breakfast with no strictures on time of start or time taken, and dining area. One is made to feel completely at home and at ease. We cannot recommend this hotel enough - the whole ethos there is to make their guests enjoy to the maximum their stay there.

The best one in the accomodation that I have ever stayed not only in Malaysia but also in asian countries. All hotel staff were very friendly and well-educated. The staff provided many kinds of information for me, I enjoyed my stay. Their property has a nice Italian restaurant as well. Thanks to them, I enjoyed real Italian atmosphere in the very central George town. Especially, thank you for Ms.Cassandra, Ms.Nardya and her Italian husband.
